Aegis lies at the heart of the Verge, both geographically and politically

Hammer’s Star

Hammer’s Star is at the very edge of explored space. There is a strong Concord presence due to the ongoing klick menace in the outskirts of the system.

Walin

While Walin is technically an unclaimed system, Insight has established a research station around the third planet.

Argos

Argos is a fiercely independent republic and headquarters to the Verge Confederation

Exile

Exile is a seldom-visited system almost 17 lightyears from Aegis, once home to an extinct sentient race called the Scornge.

Polytroika

Previously known as System 2253, Polytroika has but a single outpost, located on Jewel, occupied by a handful of researchers and miners.

Spiderhole

Spiderhole is remote system currently being investigated by Concord

Tendril

Tendril, gateway to the Verge. The desert moon Alaundril boasts the oldest human colony in this region of space, as well as the largest shipyards. Nova Station’s drivesat relay is one of only three operational across the Verge (four since the Lighthouse’s arrival).

Vieron

Vieron is a neglected system with little to recommend it, well off the beaten track.

New Dreth Commonwealth

The remnants of the Dreth Commonwealth govern 7 moons in the Dewi system, and have begun to colonise other nearby systems such as Tarsis.

Mikoa

Mikoa is a binary system. The Nariacs share the main star with independents. Little interest has been shown in its stellar sibling.

Red 72

Red 72 is an unremarkable system, best known for being located halfway between Aegis and Terrivine

Talbott

Talbott is the home of Thorn Industries’ Superport Spaceyard

Terivine

The Terivine system, or at least its sole habitable planet, Rivendale, was claimed by the Regency of bluefall and Alaundril. Colonisation efforts stalled when the native riglia were discovered to be sentient.

Algemron

War-torn Algemron would be ignored by its neighbours were it not for the skirmishes that tend to overflow into surrounding systems.
