Discovered by the Starmech Collective in 2315, Tendril is the gateway to the Verge. Or to the Stellar Ring, depending on your direction of travel.
Stellar Bodies

- Tendril – a markedly unstable F1 star
- Delphin – a scorched husk with 450kph sandstorms and iron carbonyl seas
- Demimonde
- Alimonde
- Sperous – cloaked by a thick, acidic atmosphere; the few robotic probes sent to the surface have not survived the intense heat and immense pressure for long.
- Goliath Station – a gas mining station floating in Sperous’ upper atmosphere
- Testament – although barren, it has a small settlement of devout Muslims
- Alaundril – a habitable desert moon hosting the largest shipyards in the Verge; the largest settlement is Babel, the capital
- Cormis – an airless rock
- Atlas – a cold, airless rock; Orlamist colonists discovered archaeological remains; several independent bases are now scattered across the surface
- Nova Station – the largest fixed station in the Verge and one of only three drivesat relays; also houses a modest repair-yard
- Cyra Belt
- Darkhold – grubby entertainment and resupply depot based on one of the belt’s larger asteroids
- Pox – an unremarkable gas giant with a host of 33 lifeless moons in the outskirts of the system
The Burn
A 12 to 14 day period during which the electromagnetic radiation emitted by Tendril increases 20-fold, making interplanetary communication nearly impossible. The quiet period between each Burn is about 67 days.
