A remote system more than 50 lightyears distant from Aegis.
Stellar Bodies
- 100268 – an orange K-class star
- 100268/1 – a baked rock surrounded by carbon dioxide
- Lithius (100268/2) – a terrestrial world with extensive oceans and land masses rife with plant and insect life
- 100268/3 – a frozen barren dust planet with no discernible atmosphere
Lithius: A thriving biosphere led the original survey team to hope 100268/2 might be suitable for colonisation, despite the environment’s unsettling red hue. Initial testing quickly shattered that illusion. The reddish tones were due to the presence of Lithium-R, which permeated everything – air, water, soil, plants, and insects. While native lifeforms had adapted to this, everything was toxic to humans. With a long list of potential targets, the surveyors logged Lithius as uninhabitable and moved on to the next system.
